ISO 9001 is the most important standard of quality management and gives trust to our customers. The basis of the issuing of this certificate is besides the high quality of the products and services, the continuous improvement process within the company.
ISO 14001 means the sustainable acting due to a corresponding environmental management. At GEORG, environmental aspects are systematically and sustainably included in managerial decisions. The conscious use of resources is important to avoid pollution as good as possible.
Safety at Work and Health Management
The safety and health for the employees is getting more and more important worldwide. The OHSAS 18001 certification is passed to companies like GEORG which take care about occupational and health risks. The additional certification as per DIN SPEC 91020 PLUS:2017 serves to confirm that GEORG has successfully introduced and applied the Operational Health Management.
Authorized Economic Operator - AEO
With the union customs code which came into effect on 1st May 2016, the AEO status was upgraded and provided further advantages for the economic operators. As authorized economic operator, the company is part of the safe international delivery chain from the manufacturer of the goods to the final customer and the company is able to react to the permanently increasing requirements within the internal trade business. Consequently, we can now take use of many customs-approved simplifications in the import and export.

With this certificate GEORG is certified a very family-conscious human-resources policy. The various options offered by GEORG, in order to manage job and family, shows our great demand to find and bind highly skilled experts and to offer them the best possible environment in order to perform an excellent job.
Top Employer SME 2018 and 2019
GEORG belongs to the top employers SME within Germany, Austria and Switzerland. This is the result of a study carried out for the first time by Focus-Business in cooperation with kununu.com an evaluation platform for employees, apprentices and applicants.
GEORG is counted among the 1300 favored employers within the German speaking countries and is ranked number 3 within the SME plant engineering companies in the DACH region.
In the 2019 study where 750.00 companies in Germany were evaluated GEORG was ranked number 5 among the most estimated SME machine and plant manufacturers.
Seal for Training
After 2014, GEORG is awarded again as one of the best companies for training in 2017. The seal certifies GEORG the great efforts and performance in the field of training. We are especially glad about the external survey and the positive feedback from our trainees.
In addition GEORG is particularly committed to the dual vocational training and junior professionals as part of the initiative for Education Ambassadors.

The social responsibility of GEORG was confirmed by receiving the „Roswith Oerter“ employees award. Since 10 years, the CDA Kreisverband Siegen-Wittgenstein certifies companies special merit for their own employees with this award.
